Harold Polis (1970) is a publisher and essayist. As a publisher, he is mainly active in Belgium and the Netherlands. He co-founded the publishing houses Meulenhoff | Manteau, De Bezige Bij Antwerpen, Polis and Otheo Books. He writes for the newspaper De Standaard. His new book Dode bladeren (Dead Leaves) will be published by Tzara at the end of 2026.
