Katarina Mitrović (1991) was born in Belgrade. She graduated in dramaturgy from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. She has published two poetry books, Utroba (Matica srpska, 2017) and Dok čekam da prođe (Gradska biblioteka Karlo Bijelicki, 2018); a verse novel, Nemaju sve kuće dvorište (PPM Enklava, 2020); and a prose novel, Sve dobre barbike (PPM Enklava, 2024).

As a screenwriter, she has worked on various television series. In 2024, she received the Professor Boško Milin Award from the Department of Dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade for her performance text Naked. In 2025, she received the Grozdana Olujić Award for her novel Sve dobre barbike.
