Amina Niepsuj-Wood was born in Olsztyn, Poland, and holds degrees in chemistry and Italian philology. She worked in logistics and consulting in Poland, Spain, and Germany, but it was her Erasmus experience in Sicily that sparked a deeper interest in Italian literature and translations, which she has been pursuing ever since. Among her translation dreams are Stefano Benni’s short stories and children’s books.
