Ivana Lešević is a translator, researcher, and professor based in Belgrade. She holds a PhD in Philological Sciences from the University of Belgrade, specializing in literary studies, as well as a master’s degree in applied management and communication. With over a decade of experience in higher education, she works as a professor of Italian and English at the Faculty of Applied Management, Economics and Finance (MEF) in Belgrade, where she has also served as an Erasmus+ coordinator and manager of various international academic projects.
Her research and professional work focus on foreign language pedagogy, Italian literature, intercultural communication, and media studies. She is a widely published academic author, with numerous papers examining Italian literary traditions, Petrarchism in Serbian poetry, and communication strategies in contemporary education. As a translator, Ivana bridges the Italian and Serbian language areas, focusing on both literary and professional translation. She is a participant in the CELA (Connecting Emerging Literary Artists) project (2024–2028) as a translator from Italian into Serbian.
